If your visit to Prince Edward County is propelled by your taste buds, why not explore your senses on the award-winning Taste Trail? The County’s experiential trail is a self-guided route and map which allows visitors to choose their epicurean adventure. More than just a listing of tasting rooms and restaurants – it is a delectable exploration of organic farms, world-class wineries, fine dining, and specialty producers relished by epicures, wine-lovers, and locavores alike. From famous chefs to artisan cheese makers, from ciders and craft beers to locally sourced foodstuffs and homemade delights the Taste Trail delivers an experience that has attracted food and wine lovers for years by promoting quality, attention to detail, sustainability and exceptional service. Come sample for yourself the bounty of our harvests and feast on the fruits of our labours at a host of local providers and establishments, and at our annual Maple in the County, Countylicious and Taste! celebration. The Taste Trail: a meander to educate, enlighten and delight the palate.

Sister to the Taste Trail, the Arts Trail is a journey through our towns, villages, and countryside on a self-guided adventure to artist and artisan studios and galleries. Painters, sculptors, potters, blacksmiths, glassblowers, jewellery makers, photographers, folk artists and others welcome you, the visitor, to find that perfect memento of the County, that special gift, in settings as diverse and scenic as century homes, top-notch multi-artist galleries, and home-based studios. Join us this year on a trail of discovery through Prince Edward County’s vibrant arts scene. Experience culture surrounded by natural beauty, history, and community. The Arts Trail: where creativity and your artistic desires meet.

Beautifully done. I picked up a booklet today at East and Main while lunching. Will leave it in my car as a reference for when I meander off the 401 again and into Prince Edward County. Highly recommend.
