Small Pond Arts is proud to take over Prince Edward County’s Scarecrow Festival, started by Galloping Goat Gallery five years ago. Join us for an afternoon at our art farm and make your very own scarecrow to take home! All supplies are provided for donation of $20 or more.
Proceeds will benefit ArtsCan Circle, a charitable organization dedicated to linking creative artists with Indigenous youth at risk in Canada. Their hope is to encourage self-esteem amongst First Nations youth in isolated communities through a cooperative exploration of the arts. This charity was selected by Krista Dalby, who has been volunteering with ArtsCan for the past year, travelling to Northern Ontario and Labrador to lead puppetry workshops in schools. For more info on this worthy organization see www.artscancircle.ca.
Please join us for an afternoon of family fun, creativity, live music and community, all while supporting a great cause – rain or shine!
