Recently, Taste the County has expanded to include three interns from Loyalist College. Roberta Denyes (left) from Sales and Marketing, Jessica Grigg (centre) from Advertising and Melonie Williams (right) from Tourism Marketing and Promotions, are all pitching in on various projects from Countylicious and Maple in the County to conducting interviews to post on our new blog Experience the County (check out the lastest Q&A with Ted Maczka aka the Garlic Man). All bring with them different skill sets and expertise and we are delighted to have them.

For the next few weeks, grade twelve student Colin Sills is helping us out at Taste the County headquarters. As part of Prince Edward Collegiate Institute’s County Roots program, he will be providing invaluable assistance on projects such as Countylicious and Maple in the County. An experiential course, County Roots has students working both at school and in the community to learn first-hand about the agriculture, tourism and culinary industries of Prince Edward County. Welcome Colin, we’re happy to have you!
